| Today AT&T said that it will begin offering Motorola's Backflip Android phone starting on March 7. The Backflip will be the first Android handset to be offered by AT&T. It runs Motorola's MOTOBLUR social networking software, which so far has only be offered to T-Mobile customers in the U.S. The Backflip was introduced by Motorola in January. AT&T also said that the company is planning to roll out four more Android devices during the first half of 2010. Those devices will come from Dell, HTC and Motorola. AT&T didn't say how many devices would come from each of the three suppliers. Dell introduced several Android based handsets in 2009. Both HTC and Motorola have a handful of Android devices being offered by other networks.
