AT&T Welcomes Palm Pre Plus - Pixi Plus - Dell Aero

A day before the official kickoff of the CTIA Wireless Conference in Las Vegas, AT&T today announced a trio of new smartphones.

According to a press release, AT&T will now carry the Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus. The carrier also recognized the impending arrival of Dell's first Android smartphone, the Dell Aero. With the addition of Palm's webOS devices, AT&T's device portfolio now covers all major mobile operating systems.

AT&T also will soon unveil an Android-based smartphone, the Dell Aero. This will be Dell's first smartphone available in the United States and will feature a new custom user interface developed by Dell and AT&T.

AT&T is, of course, touting its version of the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus as the only webOS devices in the U.S. to support simultaneous voice and data while running multiple applications at once.
